Individual Therapy
Personal sessions for your teen to talk one-on-one with a therapist, helping them navigate their unique challenges.
Day treatment, also known as the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), provides outpatient care to helps teens who are struggling with mental health and substance use issues.
Under the guidance of our treatment team, your teen will participate in different therapeutic activities like connecting in support groups, learning how to regulate their emotions, and managing any medications they might have.
With PHP, your teen gets more structure than regular outpatient care but doesn’t have to stay in an inpatient or residential setting. It’s an effective solution that allows your teen to get the help they need while still living at home.
In our teen partial hospitalization program, most days begin at around noon and end at around 5:00 p.m. The program usually lasts for 2-4 weeks.
Group academic and vocational support sessions occur three days a week, with daily support from a licensed teacher.
Family therapy sessions occur weekly, and six hours of group and experiential therapy take place every day.
A typical day might include:
Personal sessions for your teen to talk one-on-one with a therapist, helping them navigate their unique challenges.
Structured teaching to make sure your teen doesn’t fall behind in their academic goals.
Engaging activities, like equine and art therapy, to provide creative outlets for teens to process and practice what they learn.
Careful supervision and teaching about prescribed medications to ensure your teen’s health and safety.
Expert assessments and personalized treatment plans to make sure your teen gets the attention they need.
Collaborative therapy sessions to strengthen family communication, creating a unified front for your teen’s well-being.
Interactive group sessions for teens to share experiences and develop essential social skills in a supportive community.
Consultations to find the right next step for your teen, whether that is continued treatment or returning home.
Our day treatment program is best suited for teens who need more support to overcome their addiction or mental health issues than is provided in an afterschool outpatient treatment program, but do not necessarily need 24-hour supervision.
If your child needs more structure than our outpatient day treatment program can provide, we recommend our teen residential programs.
If you aren’t sure which level of care is right for your child, there is no need to worry. Your family will have a personal consultation with our adolescent psychiatrist to find the best fit for your teenager.
We have felt included and supported and are so grateful for the care they’ve provided to our son at such a vulnerable and scary time.
Teenagers who struggle with mental health and substance issues often find it challenging to keep their head above water at school. Deciding between taking time away from their education or going without treatment can feel like an impossible decision, which is why we don’t make you choose.
While your teen is in our PHP program, they will have a certified teacher helping them to earn credits and improve their grades. Our team coordinates with your child’s school to make sure they won’t fall behind.
As your child nears the end of their treatment, we provide discharge planning so they can transition comfortably back into their regular school schedule.
Whether your family needs high support or high flexibility, we have the programs your teenager needs to be able to start feeling better in a way that fits your circumstances.
Each program provides a unique combination of structured scheduling and accessibility, so you can find what works best for you and your child.
With care ranging from 24/7 residential programs, to partial hospitalizations for adolescents, to virtual afterschool treatment, your family can start to heal no matter what your situation is.
When a teen is struggling with substance abuse or their mental health, it doesn’t just affect them, it affects the entire family.

Here are a few signs that may indicate your child could benefit from a partial hospitalization program for adolescents:
In rehab, PHP stands for the Partial Hospitalization Program, which is sometimes known as day treatment. In a partial hospitalization program, adolescent clients can expect a thorough daily schedule of therapy, support groups, and educational support to help teens address their mental health and substance use issues.
The duration of our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) typically lasts between 2 to 4 weeks, but it’s important to note that every person’s journey is unique. The length of the program is tailored to meet the specific needs of your teen.
Once your teen reaches a point where the intensive support of day treatment is no longer necessary but they still require therapy, a smooth transition to our afterschool outpatient program is available. This ensures they continue to receive the necessary therapeutic support while comfortably reintegrating into their daily life.
In our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) for teens, you can expect a structured daily schedule with therapeutic activities, counseling, and educational support. Your teen will receive individual and group therapy, medical monitoring, and family therapy. The program emphasizes life skills, peer support, and goal setting to empower your teen on their journey to recovery.
In our PHP (Partial Hospitalization Program) for teens, your teen won’t have to put their life on hold to get the support they need. We have a dedicated, credentialed teacher as part of our team to ensure that education remains a top priority during their treatment.
Our goal is to create a seamless integration between rehabilitation and your teen’s education, allowing them to continue their academic journey with the guidance of a qualified professional. This way, your teen can focus on both their recovery and their studies.
