Rockville, Maryland
The reality is that you may not be ready to jump back into life at home, and that is perfectly okay. Our transitional living program provides you with comprehensive addiction and mental health treatment, while you live in an environment that is supportive and therapeutic.
The goal of our program is to provide just the right amount of structure and accountability, while also allowing room for learning and growth. Our transitional living facilities are available for clients who are actively engaged in PHP treatment with us.
Our other DMV transitional living centers are located in Towson, MD and Reston, VA. Both of these centers are for men.
Our highly trained staff will work with you to develop a structured care plan that is tailored to your unique needs.
You’ll practice conflict resolution and rebuild family relationships all while living with others who understand exactly what you’re going through.
The added support of a transitional living center gives you the tools you need to succeed in recovery and in life.
Our commitment to our clients’ lasting success and recovery helps us continually exceed licensing standards of care throughout the industry.
The North Bethesda Rehab Center is located conveniently near to the transitional living center, so you won’t have to travel far for treatment. Everyone in this group will be attending 25 hours a week of day treatment, which includes evidence-based therapies in individual, group, and family settings.
We listen to you and find out what types of treatment will work best for you. This program is not one-size-fits-all program and we take the time to look at each individual and their situation.
Other therapies include experiential, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and many more.
Sandstone Care aims to drive positive lasting change in real people. We understand that you have a life, so we offer a more personal experience than you would find anywhere else.
Recovery living can be especially helpful for young adults (ages 18–30) who need support in developing healthy lifestyle habits and developing life skills.
If you would benefit from a supportive substance-free living environment, or find that living with family is creating too much strain on your relationships at this point, then transitional living is for you.
Recovery is about more than simply abstaining from drug or alcohol use.
It is also about developing a sustainable, balanced, and independent lifestyle.
On Saturdays, we plan an outing or activity. Residents get to suggest activities they would like to do, like going to the batting cages or playing basketball.
Sundays are free days where some residents stay at home and relax, and others hang out with friends or go to the gym.
