At Sandstone Care, we recognize that mental health struggles can significantly impact the lives of teens and young adults. That’s why we are dedicated to providing effective treatment programs that cater to the needs of teens and young adults struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and more.
Our Colorado Springs Center is a spacious building equipped with private rooms for one-on-one therapy, group therapy, and academic/vocational learning. Our licensed and qualified clinical teams lead intensive outpatient and day treatment programs that prioritize the rehabilitation of our clients.
We take pride in creating a supportive and nurturing environment that encourages teens and young adults to focus on their recovery and develop healthy coping skills. Our goal is to help our clients thrive in life beyond treatment and achieve long-term wellness.
Sandstone Care aims to drive positive lasting change in real people. We understand that you have a life, so we offer a more personal experience than you would find anywhere else.
Our treatment programs include multiple individual therapy sessions each week to provide one-on-one support and guidance. In addition to individual therapy, clients can connect with others on a similar journey through our weekly group therapy sessions. These sessions are designed to foster a sense of community and provide the opportunity to share their experiences and support one another.
We also offer weekly experiential activities such as ropes courses and community social events. These activities provide clients with opportunities to develop new skills, build self-confidence, and practice healthy coping strategies in a supportive and nurturing environment.
The young adult mental health program runs from 9am-12pm on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday of each week. In addition, the program provides 2 hours of Academic/Vocational work per week, on Tuesday and Thursday from 1-2pm.
Our goal is to provide teens and young adults with a holistic treatment experience that addresses their unique needs and helps them develop the skills needed to manage their mental health and achieve their goals.
Working through mental health issues can be overwhelming and even more challenging if you’re uncomfortable or find it hard to open up.
So, as someone considering mental health treatment, it is totally normal to worry or have questions about the center you’ll be at or even the staff you’ll be interacting with.
To calm anxiety caused by those ‘unknowns,’ we put together a fun video tour of the Sandstone Care Colorado Springs Center for Depression, Trauma, & Anxiety.
Our awesome staff creates a judgment-free zone so you feel safe and heard. And while the staff is trained and specialized in age-specific and evidence-based treatment, they are still regular people.
This expansive center is designed with plenty of space, snacks, and games to make your time with us fun, productive, and as comfortable as possible.
