Partial-Hospitalization vs. Outpatient Treatment

Sandstone Care offers both Partial-Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP) in Colorado Springs, CO. But what do those words actually mean for you?

Our PHP program is designed for teens and young adults looking for dedicated care multiple days each week while they are living at home or in one of our residential treatment centers. Treatment involves several hours of counseling with each session. This option may be the best fit for you if you need extra support, but aren’t looking to reside at a rehabilitation facility full-time.

IOP offers the same level of compassionate care on a less frequent basis. You will meet with therapists once or twice each week, so you could continue regularly attending school, extracurriculars, or work.

To ensure your safety, our detox program may be required before you begin outpatient treatment.
