Partial-Hospitalization vs. Outpatient Treatment

Sandstone Care offers both Partial-Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP) in Colorado Springs, CO. It’s important to choose the treatment that best accommodates your needs and situation for the best recovery outcome.

Our PHP program is designed for teens and young adults looking for dedicated care multiple days each week, while living at home. Treatment is tailored to each patient, but involves several hours of counseling with each session. This option is great for individuals who need extra support, but aren’t looking to reside at a rehabilitation facility full-time.

Partial-hospitalization offers the same level of compassionate care on a less frequent basis. Patients meet with therapists once or twice each week, allowing them to continue regularly attending school, extracurriculars, or work.

Before beginning treatment it may be necessary to undergo our Detox Program to safely continue with the recovery process. We recommend verifying your insurance and calling us to identify the best program for you or your child.
