Sherry is our team’s Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, with 32 years experience in healthcare. She works collaboratively with the clients to diagnose, treat, and prescribe medications for substance use and co-occurring psychiatric disorders. She is licensed to conduct psychotherapy. Sherry has experience in the inpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient levels of care for substance use disorders and psychiatric/co-occurring disorders. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree with the University of Maryland in Nursing. She is a member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine. She collaborates closely with the Sandstone Care staff on the management of clients’ medical and psychiatric/psychological issues related to addiction and co-occurring disorders.
