Questions About Treatment?

You’re not alone. Explore some of the questions others ask — or call us at (888) 850-1890 to get answers to your specific questions today. Ask us anything.

Medication management can be an important part of the treatment process, especially for addiction treatment programs. Medication can help with early recovery, and can even assist in relapse prevention.

If medication is recommended, our rehabilitation center’s medication provider will see the client on a regular basis until an ongoing provider is established. If a client has an outside provider and they would like to continue to guide their medication during Sandstone IOP, a release will be required to ensure integrated care.

We have outpatient mental health and drug rehab centers in Colorado, Maryland, Virginia, & Illinois. You can also find sober living or transitional living facilities in each of those locations. Click a state to learn more about the facilities.

Yes! Please complete a quick and easy Insurance Verification to see if we accept your health insurance. We accept insurance plans from most major insurance providers, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Kaiser, and more.

Please note that we do not accept Medicare or Medicaid.

Many adolescents and young adults struggle with drug or alcohol dependency as well as mental health issues.

For teens and young adults who are using substances primarily to cope with their mental health issues, the mental health program might be more appropriate.

For teens and young adults who struggle primarily with substance use, but also experience mental health issues (called co-occurring disorders), our addiction recovery program might be more appropriate. Within that program, we provide dual-diagnosis treatment that addresses substance use and mental health simultaneously.

If you’re not sure where to go, our assessment center provides professional evaluations so you can get a clinician’s opinion regarding what type of treatment could best serve you. We’ll make you the right referral so you can get the exact care you need.

Our rehab facilities provide therapeutic treatment in small group setting, for a more personal experience. We also offer individual family therapy, multifamily group with multiple families, and academic/vocation skill building twice weekly.

Our primary focus is specialized group therapy led by licensed clinicians and medical providers who are available to provide medication management, psychiatric services, and weekly evaluations with each clinician.

These clinical groups are a combination of skills-based programs emphasizing the use of DBT and CBT, and person-centered process groups for individuals experiencing mental health and behavioral health issues as well as drug or alcohol addiction.

We also offer discharge planning and aftercare support services, so you can continue to thrive after treatment.

Family plays an important role in a person’s wellness, and these relationships can either help or hinder a person’s mental health. To give our clients the best chance at healing, we offer individual family sessions bi-weekly. During these sessions, we examine the family’s role in helping their loved one break out of old patterns of behavior in favor of new, healthier patterns.

More importantly, we aim to facilitate a stronger connection between the family unit, because we know that in recovery, connection is key. Our program also utilizes weekly multi-family support groups as a source of support and guidance. We also ensure that family members are informed of all available crisis services and community resources.

By inviting the whole family unit to counseling at our medical centers, we ensure our behavioral health services are comprehensive and inclusive.

You can begin the process by calling our admissions department at (888) 950-1890. If you or a loved one are experiencing an emergency crisis, please call the suicide prevention crisis line at 988.

No, our facility operates strictly by appointment. However, providing support to individuals seeking treatment for themselves or their loved ones is our top priority. Our dedicated phone line is available round the clock to address any inquiries you may have. Our team of professionals is always ready to offer compassionate guidance and assistance to ensure your needs are met.
