Jules Nonamaker shines as the IOP Young Adult Dual Diagnosis Primary Therapist at Interlocken, Broomfield Sandstone Care. Raised on the east coast with a rich background in English Literature, Jules expanded her expertise with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health and Counseling Education from Central Connecticut State University. Her journey in mental health has been marked by a profound commitment to assisting those grappling with substance use disorders and a spectrum of mental health challenges, including trauma, depression, anxiety, and life transitions among young adults aged 18-30. 

With certifications including a MS and LPCC, Jules embraces a dynamic and eclectic therapeutic approach. She skillfully integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Psychoanalytic, Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused, and Person-Centered Therapies into her practice. This blend of modalities underscores her direct, transparent, compassionate, and validation-based approach to counseling, reflecting her deep-rooted belief in the transformative power of therapy for enhancing individuals’ health, safety, and quality of life. 

Jules is particularly passionate about creating a safe and validating environment where healing is not just possible but believed to be attainable for everyone. She finds immense joy in witnessing the breakthroughs and connections her clients make, both in group settings and individual sessions, reinforcing her dedication to the mental and emotional well-being of those she serves. 

Outside of her therapeutic work, Jules indulges in reading, hiking, attending concerts, snowboarding, and traveling. These activities not only provide her with a well-rounded life but also fuel her passion for connecting with others and the world around her.
