The mental health program may be appropriate for young adults who are using substances to cope with their mental health issues. Many teens struggle with substance use disorders and mental health issues simultaneously. If substance abuse continues to be the primary issue being addressed, then an addiction recovery program, such as detox, may be the correct care and a referral will be made for intervention.
Our young adult (18-30), Mental Health IOP is a comprehensive, collaborative outpatient program that meets 4 times a week for 3 hours a day. Our outpatient rehab for depression, anxiety, and other conditions provides thorough support. Our intimate, small groups focus on a well-balanced recovery, peer support utilizing weekly multifamily group, academic/vocation “adulting” skill building 2 times weekly; specialized group therapy led by licensed clinicians and medical providers who are available to meet participants for medication management, psychiatric services, psychotherapy, and weekly evaluations with each clinician. Clinical groups are a combination of skills-based programs emphasizing the use of DBT groups and CBT, and person-centered process groups for individuals experiencing mental health problems such as depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, and previous trauma. We also offer long and short-term telehealth options to best fit your unique circumstances.
Family plays a vital role in the overall wellness of each individual served. Individual family sessions are offered bi-weekly to examine the family’s role in creating new patterns of behavior and changing old behavior that reinforced negative behaviors. Connection is key in recovery. The family is taken into heavy consideration throughout our case management process. We also ensure that family members are informed of all available crisis services. Our program also utilizes weekly multi-family groups to reinforce new skills being learned in groups and as a source of support and guidance.
