We're open for you. COVID-19 Update
Taking the first step toward getting help can often be overwhelming. When you reach out to Sandstone Care, we’ll take time to listen to you, get to know you, and do our best to meet your needs. We promise to always have your best interest in mind, and will do everything we can to support you and keep the admissions process simple and straightforward.
When you call the confidential Sandstone Care admissions line, one of our friendly and caring admissions coordinators will answer. Whether you’re seeking treatment immediately or just curious if you or your loved one may have a problem, they’re here to help and listen. They’ll ask you questions to familiarize themselves with your situation and what you’re going through, and make a recommendation for treatment.
We offer several different outpatient programs for both teens and young adults at our Virginia location. If our admissions team recommends one of these programs for you, you’ll be scheduled for an assessment with our intake and assessment coordinator. In these 1-2 hour assessments, we’ll go over your mental health history, current substance use and substance use history, your support system, education, employment status, and other important aspects of your life. Our goal is to look at your situation as a whole, not just at what you’re struggling with right now.
If we feel that our programs won’t be a good fit for you, we’ll help to connect you with other programs and resources in your area that can provide you with services that will be able to better support you.
Before you complete an assessment, we’ll reach out to your insurance company and verify your specific plan coverage details to determine any deductible amounts, coinsurance, or co-pays that need to be collected. No one likes a surprise when it comes to insurance coverage and billing. Or to begin the process, you can start by verifying your insurance below.
