The Resilient Athlete

The resilient athlete is a 6-week program designed to help athletes learn how to perform under pressure. These evidence-based workshops help students sharpen their focus, regulate their emotions, and recover quickly from setbacks.

Stronger minds. Stronger futures.

Growing up is more complicated than ever, and that has a serious impact on how students show up on the field. Without the right skills to take care of their mental health when things get tough, some of those incredible athletes could walk off the field forever.

Resilience is the ability to adapt, recover, and grow. It doesn’t mean your students won’t face challenges or make mistakes, instead, it teaches them to take those struggles as an opportunity to become better.

At Sandstone Care, we’re committed to supporting athletes, parents, and schools in building the mental and emotional skills that help young people face whatever their future holds.

We refuse to give up on students by refusing to let them give up on themselves, and that starts with the next play.

How We Can Help

Student-athletes need mental health training that is built for specifically for teen development, because coping skills land differently when the brain is still maturing.

That is what Sandstone Care does every day. We use age-specific, evidence-based care to work with teens and young adults in real crisis and teach the exact skills that help them come back from it.

That experience is why we take prevention seriously. Alongside our partner organizations, like M&D Lacrosse, we work with you to help young people build healthy patterns now, before pressure turns into panic, isolation, or giving up, and before the next setback hits even harder.
