Erin DiMenna, MA

Erin DiMenna, MA, Resident in Counseling, is dedicated to collaborating with clients on creative ways to improve well-being in Sandstone Care’s Alexandria, VA treatment center for teens and young adults.

Erin believes that all individuals can thrive with the right support. Erin operates from a feminist theoretical lens that considers the impact of culture and environment on mental health. Understanding that humans are wired for connection, Erin uses relational-cultural therapy to enhance life-giving relationships.

Erin also integrates mindful self-compassion and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) skills training to empower clients to meet their treatment goals and uses these models to bring her best self to treatment as a clinician and fellow human being.

Outside of work, Erin enjoys spending as much time outdoors as possible.
