Dr. Andrea Auxier

Dr. Andrea Auxier is the Chief Clinical and Quality Officer at Sandstone Care, bringing deep expertise in trauma-informed care and integrated behavioral health. She holds a PhD and MA in Clinical Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Boston, an MA in Counseling Psychology from New York University, and a BA in Psychology from Cornell University. 

Andrea completed her predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Miami School of Medicine, with rotations in outpatient, inpatient, and consultation-liaison psychiatry. The primary focus of her career has been on the business side side in various roles including Chief Growth Officer, President, and CEO. She also brings extensive experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma, and is well-versed in the integration of behavioral health into primary care settings. 

Outside of her professional work, Andrea enjoys spending time outdoors, staying active, and caring for her animals. With her children now in college, she values the time she gets to spend with family, friends, and pets alike.
