Our Team

We’ve assembled a highly-credentialed team of doctors, therapists, and specialists. They have collectively worked with thousands of clients throughout their careers in helping adolescents and young adults struggling with drug and alcohol abuse and/or mental health issues like depression, and anxiety.

We firmly believe a highly experienced, dedicated team with a passion for working with teens and young adults is the single most important piece of a program. Our team is fully committed to our mission of relentlessly pursuing successful clinical outcomes.

Dianna Sandoval, LPC, LAC
Executive Clinical Director

Dianna is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Addictions Counselor. Dianna has over 20 years of clinical experience working with adolescents and young adults. She earned her Master of Arts degree in Psychology from Regis University. Dianna has worked extensively with individuals struggling with substance use throughout her career. She started her career at Arapahoe House as a Program Manager and most recently, Dianna was the Clinical Director of a Denver-based substance use outpatient program as well as a Denver-based wellness program. Dianna manages the day-to-day clinical and administrative functions and conducts the initial assessments as well as the family orientation sessions.

Dr. Mary Braud, MD
Medical Director, Denver & Boulder, Colorado

Dr. Braud is a Medical Doctor specializing in Psychiatry. Dr. Braud has 17 years of medical experience working with adolescents and young adults. She earned her Medical Degree from the Louisiana State School of Medicine. Dr. Braud completed her residency in Pediatrics at Oregon Health Sciences University. She also completed an internship at the Menninger Clinic with a focus on Psychiatry. Dr. Braud completed her fellowship in Child Psychiatry at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. In addition to her specialization in Psychiatry, Dr. Braud is also certified in Functional Medicine. In addition to serving as the Medical Director for Sandstone Care, Dr. Braud also has a private practice. Dr. Braud performs psychiatric assessments and evaluations, manages medication, and collaborates closely with Sandstone Care’s multidisciplinary team during treatment and discharge planning.

Dr. Arshad William, MD
Staff Psychiatrist, Denver & Boulder, Colorado

Dr. William serves as Sandstone Care's staff psychiatrist at our Boulder Location and works closely with our Clinical Director and Medical Director across both locations.  Dr. William received his medical degree from University of Benin College of Medicine. He was Chief Resident at the University at Harlem Hospital Center, College of Physicians & Surgeons of Columbia.  Dr. William is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and is Board certified by the American Board of Addiction Medicine (ABAM) and Member of the Colorado Psychiatric Society.

Sterling Fabinski, LCSW, CAC II
Program Manager, Denver, Colorado

Sterling is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Addiction Counselor II. Sterling has over 14 years of clinical experience working with adolescents and young adults. She earned her Masters in Social Work from the University of Denver. Sterling has worked extensively with dual-diagnosed clients, currently working with clients in her private practice and previously having worked at Family Tree Housing and Family Services as a Case Manager, Arapahoe House as a Counselor, Denver Health Outpatient Behavioral Health Services as a Therapist, and various other agencies facilitating outpatient psychotherapy groups focused primarily on substance use. Sterling is currently the Program Manager at Sandstone Care's Denver facility where she oversees all of the clinical operations.

Leah Reed, NCC, LCPC
Clinical Program Manager, North Bethesda, Maryland

Leah is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a Master Addictions Counselor with 10 years of clinical experience. She earned her Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Chatham College and gained much of her professional experience in a variety of settings including academia, community/public mental health and substance abuse rehabilitation facilities. Leah has worked with a diverse population of dually diagnosed clients ranging in age from 14-65 years of age and loves empowering both her clients and other professionals towards change and growth. Her previous roles have enabled her to supervise interns and graduate professionals. She is recognized as both a Maryland State LCPC and an Addictions Counselor Supervisor.

Autumn Jerumbo, LGPC
Senior Clinician, North Bethesda, Maryland

Autumn is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor in the state of Maryland. She earned her Masters of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Palo Alto University. She has specialized training in the treatment of addictive, compulsive, and post-traumatic stress disorders, and is passionate about working with families impacted by addiction and violence. She has gained experience in residential and outpatient treatment centers and she has worked with clients in the legal system, both victims of crime, as well as clients receiving rehabilitative and anger management counseling. Autumn has worked in the mental health field for over 10 years in roles that involve academic research, teaching, counseling, coaching, and health-based product development. Autumn is currently a Primary Therapist at Sandstone Care’s North Bethesda facility where she works with our young adult clients.

Tiffaney Mills, LGSW
Senior Clinician, North Bethesda, Maryland

Tiffaney is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker with over ten years of professional experience working with children, adolescents, and families. She earned her Masters of Social Work degree from Howard University School of Social Work. She began her clinical career working with immigrant and at-risk populations. She has worked extensively with youth and their families, primarily as it relates to mood disorders, complicated trauma, loss and grief, substance use, and self-harm/suicidality. Tiffaney holds a background in Criminal Justice and has also worked in advocacy, policy reform, foster care, veteran affairs and the court systems. Additionally, she has participated in community outreach and international studies abroad in both South America and Africa. Currently, Tiffaney is a Primary Therapist at Sandstone Care’s North Bethesda facility where she supports the adolescent group.

Brannon Pruet, LPC, CAC II
Senior Clinician, Denver, Colorado

Brannon is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Addiction Counselor II. Brannon has 20 years of clinical experience working with adolescents and young adults. He earned his Master of Arts degree in Counseling, graduating Summa Cum Laude, from Denver Seminary, and is currently completing his Doctor of Philosophy Program in Psychology from Grand Canyon University. Brannon also currently manages the psychiatric assessment team at St. Anthony’s Hospital and previously facilitated individual and group psychotherapy as a primary therapist in both outpatient and in-patient programs. Brannon leads the adolescent groups and individual sessions, as well as assists with the initial assessments.

John Bundrick, LPC, NCGC-II
Senior Clinician, Denver, Colorado

John is a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Gambling Counselor-II. He earned his Master of Arts degree in Counseling and Guidance from Louisiana Tech University. John has worked extensively with dual-diagnosed clients in residential, inpatient, outpatient, and drug court settings. He previously worked as a primary therapist at the Center of Recovery in Shreveport, LA, specializing in the treatment of clients with gambling disorder and co-occurring mood and substance use disorders. John is currently a Senior Clinician at Sandstone Care supporting the young adult treatment program at the Denver facility.

Sarah Fletcher, LPC, CACII
Senior Clinician, Boulder, Colorado

Sarah earned her Masters degree in Rehabilitation Counseling with a specialization in substance use disorder from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. Sarah has over 4 years of clinical experience in individual, family, and group therapy. Sarah recently moved to Denver from Chicago, IL after working as an addictions therapist at Rosecrance Health Network. Sarah has worked both in residential and intensive outpatient settings, with both adolescent and young adult populations. Sarah is currently a Senior Clinician at Sandstone Care supporting the adolescent treatment program at our Boulder facility.

Cindy Collinsworth, LPC
Clinician, Boulder, Colorado

Cindy is a Licensed Professional Counselor and the Primary Young Adult Therapist at the Boulder location.  She earned her Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Denver Seminary and her Bachelors of Arts from Baylor University.  Cindy has worked extensively with adolescents and young adults struggling with co-occurring mental health disorders throughout her career. Prior to joining Sandstone Care, Cindy was the Clinical Lead on the Rapid Response Team at AllHealth Network and prior to that was a counselor at Shiloh Home, Inc.

Brittany Miller, LPC, NCC
Intake Coordinator, Denver, Colorado

Brittany is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She earned her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health and School Counseling from Denver Seminary in Littleton, Colorado. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Family Studies at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. Brittany has worked with children, adolescents, young adults and families who have experienced trauma and have associated mental health and substance use in a variety of contexts for the past several years. Her passion is in conducting high quality assessments to facilitate the utilization of integrative care models that treat the whole person and family system. Brittany manages assessments and intakes and facilitates client transitions into Sandstone Care’s programs.

Anne Kahn, LPC, CAC II
Intake Coordinator, Boulder, Colorado

Anne is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Addiction Counsellor II. She has over 17 years of clinical experience working with adolescent and adult clients. Originally from Finland, Anne roamed the World before settling in Boulder, Colorado. She got her B.A. in Psychology from CU-Boulder and her M.A. in Transpersonal Counseling and Art Therapy from Naropa University. She worked as an art therapist with dual diagnosis clients at Longmont United Hospital's inpatient psychiatric department. Later, Anne triaged psychiatric evaluations for the emergency room at the hospital. She also worked at Centennial Peaks Hospital as an IOP therapist, social worker and as a utilization review coordinator. At Sandstone Care, Anne uses her experience to manage assessments and intakes while she facilitates client transitions into Sandstone Care’s programs.

Peter King, LGSW
Primary Family Therapist, North Bethesda, Maryland

Peter is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor in the state of Maryland and earned his Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marymount University.  Peter has experience working with adults and adolescents in substance abuse and mental health recovery providing individual, group, and family counseling.  He has also provided case management and crisis intervention.  Peter currently serves as a Primary Family Therapist at Sandstone Care's Bethesda, Maryland location.

Kaci Woodcock, LSW
Primary Family Therapist, Denver & Boulder, Colorado

Kaci is Licensed Social Worker and currently serves as a Primary Family Therapist supporting both the Denver and Boulder locations.  She received her Masters of Social Work from Loyola University Chicago with a Child and Family specialization.  Prior to joining Sandstone Care, Kaci was a Social Worker at Centennial Peaks Hospital in Louisville, Colorado.

Sara English, RD
Lead Dietitian & Nutritionist, Denver, Colorado

Sara is a Registered Dietitian. Sara has 6 years of experience working with adolescents and young adults. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science and Nutrition/DPD from San Diego State University. She worked as a Registered Dietitian at Eating Recovery Center in Denver for the last five years, and is now working in private practice. Sara is the Vice President of and serves on the Executive Board of the Denver Metro Chapter of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP). Sara leads the nutritional component of the program at Sandstone Care. Sara collaborates closely with the multidisciplinary team during treatment and provides nutritional assessments, as needed, for both the young adults and adolescents.

Heidi Peveto, LPC
Utilization Review Coordinator, Denver & Boulder, Colorado

Heidi is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She earned her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado and her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Colorado State University. She has experience working with children, youth, adults, and families in the context of trauma care, outpatient counseling, and substance use disorder treatment. Heidi believes in quality, accessible behavioral health care for all and is passionate about connecting individuals to the services they need to reach their goals of health and recovery. Heidi coordinates the utilization reviews for clients receiving services from Sandstone Care.

William "Liam" Grafton III
Academic & Vocational Coordinator, Boulder, Colorado

Liam received his bachelor’s in mathematics from the University of Colorado and has 13 years experience tutoring adolescents and young adults. Born and raised in New Orleans, Liam studied physics at Tulane University before transferring to CU Boulder.  Prior to joining Sandstone Care, Liam worked at AIM House’s Manifest program as academic support. Prior to that, Liam worked as a teacher at Dream Catchers Legacy of Learning.  Liam currently serves as the Academic & Vocational Coordinator at Sandstone Care's Boulder, CO location.

Kerry Mahoney, LCSW, CAC III
Clinician, Denver, Colorado

Kerry is a Licensed Clinical Social Work and Licensed Addiction Counselor level III, and has over 28 years of clinical experience working with adolescents, young adults, and adults. She earned her B.S. in Social work at the University of Wyoming-Casper, and her Master’s Degree from the University of Denver.  She began her career at Denver Area Youth Services working across several programs as a Clinician and Program Manager for over 13 years.  She later worked with DOC and Federal Bureau of Prisons clients and parolees for several years; in 2007 she began working for the National Institute for Change as the DUI Program Manager.  Kerry currently serves as the Primary Clinician for the outpatient and relapse prevention groups for both adolescents and young adults at Sandstone Care.

Michelle Pelle, MSW
Admissions Coordinator, Denver & Broomfield

Michelle completed her Masters in Social Work at the University of Denver. Her concentration was in family systems and she added a certificate in Animal-Assisted Social Work.  Prior to joining the admissions team, Michelle was in an internship position working directly with young adult and adolescent clients and their families by observing and facilitating family programming at Sandstone Care. Prior to this, Michelle worked in a two-year residence for low-income, single parent families in Denver assisting with intake, assessments, and programming. In her current role, Michelle performs initial assessment screens, completes insurance verifications, provides ancillary support during the transition into our program, and works closely with the intake team.

Samantha Miller
Admissions Coordinator, Denver & Boulder, Colorado

Samantha is currently in the process of completing the Master’s program in counseling at Regis University, where she will graduate this December.  Prior to joining the admissions team, Samantha held a position as a clinical intern at Sandstone Care's Boulder facility. She worked directly with young adult and adolescent clients and their families by observing and facilitating IOP groups and eventually running the outpatient group at the Boulder location.  Before Sandstone Care, Samantha worked in a residential setting at Aurora Mental Health's crisis stabilization unit. In her current role, Samantha performs initial assessment screens, attends to the chat feature on our website, completes insurance verifications, provides ancillary support for clients transitioning into our program, and works closely with the intake team.

Jessica Tameris
Residential Manager, Rally Point Boulder, Colorado

Jessica is the House Manager at our women’s sober living home in Boulder, Colorado. From her own experience with addiction she has developed a passion for helping others.  Jessica has her CIT (counselor in training) and is working towards her CAC (Certified Addictions Counselor).  She has recently helped organize recovery based fundraisers and woman’s bonding and empowerment groups.  Jessica was born in Hayes Kansas, but raised in Northern Colorado. As the housing manager, she guides, supports, and empowers the young women at Rally Point recovery living. She maintains communication with the clinical team to better support the young women in the early stages of recovery. Jessica is also QMAP certified and helps manage medications for our residents.

Ben Sigley
Residential Manager, Rally Point Denver, Colorado

Ben is the house manager for our men's recovery living house in Denver, called Rally Point. Prior to joining the Sandstone team, he worked in construction teaching trade skills and the importance of hard work to young men in early recovery. He also taught a men's empowerment class for 2 years for the Stout Street Foundation in Denver. Ben is a Denver native in long term recovery and has a passion for helping others. As the house manager, Ben supports the young men living at Rally Point by holding them accountable to their goals, managing any client medications, and maintaining close communication with the clinical team. Ben uses his own experience with addiction to guide our clients as challenges arise.

Walter Baker
Residential Manager, Rally Point Denver, Colorado

Walter is a residential manager at our men's sober living house in Denver, called Rally Point. Walter is a recovering addict and Stout Street foundation graduate with over seven years of sobriety. Walter is currently pursuing a business management degree at MSU Denver and has 10 years of marketing experience. His unique knowledge of addiction, trauma, and justice systems coupled with a passionate drive to foster others' recovery makes him an ideal fit for Sandstone's recovery living team. As the house manager, Walter supports the young men living at Rally Point by holding them accountable to their goals, managing any client medications, and maintaining close communication with the clinical team. Walter uses his own experience with addiction to guide our clients as challenges arise.

Drew Powers, CAI-II, CSAC-A
Regional Outreach Manager, North Bethesda, Maryland

A native of Northern Virginia, Andrew started his career in the behavioral health field just one year into his personal recovery from addiction. Today, Andrew is dedicated to giving back to families, clients, and professionals struggling with substance use & co-occurring mental health disorders. Over the years Andrew has held a variety of positions including certified substance abuse counselor, digital marketing, and national outreach consultant. Andrew is also a certified ARISE interventionist. Andrew joined the Sandstone Care family to represent the lifesaving service in the Virginia, Maryland, and D.C. metro area.  This representation includes establishing, developing, and maintaining ethical professional & collaborative relationships within the immediate community and supporting the organization’s national outreach efforts.

Tracy Reinhard, MA, MBA, JD
Director of Strategic Initiatives, Denver & Boulder, Colorado

Tracy earned her Master of Arts degree in Educational Psychology at the University of California, Los Angeles, earned her Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Denver, and earned her Juris Doctor degree from Boston University.  Prior to joining Sandstone Care, Tracy was the Director of Operations and Business Development at the Newman Center for the Performing Arts, and prior to that, the Executive Vice President, Programming Distribution for TCI. Tracy is also a trained Interventionist and is a Board Member for the National Center for Intervention, Eating Disorder Foundation of Denver, and Harmony’s Development Board. For Sandstone Care, Tracy currently focuses predominantly on partnerships with schools, local medical professionals, and treatment providers within the community.

Rowan Hill
Business Development Coordinator, Denver, Colorado

Prior to joining Sandstone Care, Rowan worked at Open Sky Wilderness Program as a field guide and family services guide. He worked with adolescent and young adults clients and their families. Rowan has a BA in Geology from Colorado College and will be commencing his Masters in Social Work in August 2017 as a part-time student. At Sandstone Care, Rowan is the Business Development Coordinator, where he supports the marketing, outreach, and admissions teams.

Jess Barry, BA
Clinical Outreach Associate, Denver & Boulder, Colorado

Prior to joining Sandstone Care, Jess worked as the Community Outreach Manager at Colorado Youth at Risk, a non-profit youth mentoring agency. She recruited and trained hundreds of volunteer mentors to be paired with at-risk adolescents in the Denver Public School district. Prior to that, Jess was the Director of Admissions at a private college, leading a team of twelve admissions counselors. Jess brings a vast knowledge of coaching and mentoring, marketing expertise, and a passion for making a difference in the lives of young people. Jess has a BA in Psychology from Metropolitan State University of Denver and a level I certification in Internal Family Systems (IFS).  At Sandstone Care, Jess is part of the Community Outreach team, focusing on partnerships with local private practice therapists, psychiatrists, hospitals and judicial and educational consultants

Annabella Cordova-Barnes, M.A., LPCC
Clinician Denver and Broomfield

Annabella is a PRN clinician for Sandstone Care's Denver and Broomfield locations. She received her Master's in Counseling from Regis University and trained as a Junior clinician with Sandstone care. Annabella is a Colorado native with a passion for working with adolescents and young adults. She facilitates group therapy sessions for clients at both of our Colorado locations.

Brian Hager, M.A.
Academic and Vocational Adviser, Denver, Colorado

Brian completed his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and his Master’s Degree in Counseling with a concentration in Couples and Families Therapy at the University of Colorado Denver (UCD). He has training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy. Brian has experience working with college age students as a Teaching Assistant and a practicum student at the university counseling center at UCD. He spent nine months as an intern at Sandstone Care in the Denver location becoming familiar with the intensive outpatient group, multifamily group, academic/vocational group, and counseling clients and their families. After his internship, Brian accepted a position as the Academic and Vocational Adviser in the Denver office where he aims to support students in their academic careers, connect clients to community resources, and add both structure and meaning to their daily routine.
