Each client also receives individual support in addition to that shown above through bi-weekly sessions with the licensed senior clinician and bi-weekly sessions with the primary family therapist. While in the Day Treatment Program, individuals will also see the psychiatrist on a weekly basis for the evaluation and medication management.
For ages 18 to 30, Sandstone Care’s young adult day treatment program is over 35 hours a week of structured support. This program includes a heavy academic and vocational component (group vocational support sessions for three days a week), weekly family sessions (multi-family group sessions and individual family sessions), six hours per day of group therapy sessions for five days a week (evidence-based process, educational, and experiential components), and weekly community activities (sessions at Phoenix Multisport as well as young people’s CA/AA/NA meetings).
Below is the weekly schedule for the parents day treatment. The multi-family group sessions (held once a week) are required. Family members also have the opportunity to attend the weekly family support groups.
