Our Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program, often shortened to IOP, helps young adults start to understand their substance abuse and mental health struggles so they are able to successfully overcome them. The goal of our comprehensive IOP program is to address substance use and addiction along with any underlying co-occurring mental health concerns such as anxiety and depression and begin developing good social and vocational habits. We also strive to help these young people become more like the person they want to be, without using substances to get there.
Each client also receives individual support in addition to that shown above through bi-weekly sessions with the licensed senior clinician and bi-weekly sessions with the primary family therapist. While in the Day Treatment Program, individuals will also see the psychiatrist on a weekly basis for the evaluation and medication management.
The best way to know which treatment is right for you is to come in for an assessment, where a licensed clinician will be able to recommend the best option based on your unique situation.
IOP treatment can be a step-down from wilderness, residential care, and day treatment. It may also be a step-in, where a client starts at the outpatient treatment level. During outpatient treatment, clients receive therapy while continuing other life responsibilities, like school or work, and while living at home or in a sober living environment.
Intensive outpatient treatment is most helpful for some of the following scenarios:
For ages 18 to 30, the young adult Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program is a longer term outpatient treatment option. For roughly 16 hours per week, this program includes a heavy academic and vocational component, weekly family sessions, group therapy sessions, and weekly community activities.
Parents are required to attend multi-family group sessions held once a week. There are also weekly individual family support groups available for all family members to attend.
We inspire change by meeting you where you're at. We want to come alongside to support and help you start living the life you want to live.
