Residential Treatment Centers For Teens

Teen Residential Treatment

We offer two residential treatment centers designed specifically for teens struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. We help teens learn a healthy way to handle the daily challenges of their lives.

Small By Design

We provide an intimate clinical environment with smaller group sizes and a max census of 22.

Length Of Stay Icon
Length Of Stay

Teens typically stay 45-60 days and develop highly customized after care plans with their therapist, whether that's entry into other programs or a smooth transition back to home life.

Serene Environment Icon
Serene Environment

One of our residential homes is nestled peacefully in Pikes Peak Mountain in Colorado, and the other spans across 6 acres of wooded properties in central Maryland.

Family Focused

Family involvement is difficult and sometimes painful work, but we believe it is crucial for treatment to be effective. Family therapy is foundational to our program.

Locations

Our admissions team will help you find the right center for your child based on availability, length of stay, academic support needs, travel consideration, and insurance provider.

Program Philosophy
To Get Well, You Have To Get Moving

Our therapy is not the sofa-based, teeth-pulling kind. We use experiential therapy, which means we incorporate movement to connect both body and mind. Our therapists turn activities like horseback riding, hiking, or playing music into effective counseling sessions.

Chronic Hope: Parenting the Addicted Child

We'd love to gift you a copy of "Chronic Hope: Parenting the Addicted Child" by Kevin Petersen, MA, LMFT. In this eye-opening account, explore how setting boundaries, maintaining accountability and providing full transparency are three key ways to turning chronic hope into a reality. Chapters include how to triage your home, staying in control as a parent, getting your child into treatment, and resources for recovery.

Our Approach
360° Treatment for 360° Recovery

Just because a teen is struggling with mental health, trauma and/or substance use doesn’t mean they aren’t so much more. Our program addresses every aspect of their lives, from their physical and mental health to their relationships and schooling. This holistic approach ensures we treat more than symptoms to create lasting, positive change.

Our Team
